Born in Osaka, 1967, Takuya had ambitions to become an artist and was always consumed by drawings. After graduating high school and working as a store clerk, in 1986 he started working as a DJ, and worked on many genres. The mixed genre theme carried on to his work, creating the Takuya Angel of today.

DJ Luminal is a 16 year veteran of the electronic music scene, with a diverse resumé including roles as DJ, producer, remixer, sound engineer, and lighting designer for multiple renowned international electronic acts. His signature mix of hard dance music has consistently won over audiences of thousands for the past six years, with a well-deserved reputation for epic sets that keep the room rockin' until sunrise!
